Allan Greenspan

Allan Greenspan is an American economist that served as the chairman of the U.S Federal Reserve for 19 years from August 11, 1987 to January 31,2006. Allan Greenspan specialized in keeping inflation at a low level by having a very tight stance in terms of monetary policies. However, after the attacks in September 11, 2001, Allan Greenspan did lowered interest rates to 1% which helped stage another asset bubble in the form of real estate.
