Non-farm productivity

Non-farm productivity is an economic metric that measures the output per work hour. Non-farm productivity is normally used as an indicator for the current state of businesses in an economy.
The metric simply states that the overall health of businesses is positive if output or products or services created are abundant within a short work hour. The economy is said to be lagging if output is less within the same work hour period.
