Position trading

Position trading is a strategy used by some traders to remain in an open position for a long period of time while unfavorable conditions still exist. Position trading exposes a portfolio at a higher degree of risk compared to day traders which closely monitors and immediately closes positions at the end of each trading day. This is a usual strategy by long term traders who ignore short term price fluctuations.
