Auction market

A place where buyers and sellers place competitive prices on their items or services. An auction market for items and collectibles features a price that goes up depending on the number of buyers willing to go for or over the current price. In stocks, exchanges are examples of auction markets where orders are filled based on the availability of the shares provided by buyers and sellers.
