Buy the dips

Most traders on a long position tends to take advantage of minor corrections of a stock they own by buying more of it at a much lower price. Buying dips requires a great deal of confidence on the company's strength as an investor would assume that the drop in price is a result of profit taking by earlier investors of the stock. By buying the dips, a trader lowers the average entry price point of the stock at hand.
