Exchange traded fund

Similar to a mutual fund but with a lower expense ratio. Exchange traded fund or ETF is a basket of equities that follows an index. Exchange traded funds trades like an individual stock and can be bought as little as a single share. Unlike a mutual fund, Exchange traded funds can be traded short.
