Exhaust price

Traders are granted a loan by brokers to boost their buying power, this is called a margin loan. When traders use margin and the trades goes against their position, brokers would issue a margin call to cover the amount lost on the margin. If traders can not cover the required amount within a specified period, brokers would liquidate a client's position and would sell it a a discount price called an exhaust price.
