Expiration cycle

In stock options trading, this is the date when the options contract ends. If the trader cannot meet the conditions stated on the contract before its expiration date, the trader loses the entire fee paid for the contract. Expiration cycles are grouped quarterly as January cycle (first month of each quarter), February cycle (second month of each quarter) and March cycle (Third month of each quarter).
