Letter of comment


When companies try to issue new shares, a letter of comment sent by the Securities and exchange commision is received by the firm as an answer to the registration statement. A registration statement contains a comapny's financial details and other important documents that reveals facts about a company's history or operations. The letter of comment is a response that guides the company intending to issue new shares.
