Record high

Record highs refers to the highest nominal price level that a particular stock or index has reached in its trading history.
However, record high figures ignores the factor of inflation. Investors do look at these figures as a goal or reference
that the stock might somehow go back up to its highs regardless of economic factors such as inflation or deflation.
