Record low refers to the lowest nominal price level that a stock or index has gone through in its trading history.
Record low figures ignores the factor of inflation. Investors do look at these figures as a goal or reference. For instance,
if a stock is trading above its record low, it may tell the investor or analyst that it has a good momentum to go
back up to its highs. Another would be to assume that anything below the historical low is a red flag to get out of a trade or investment.
