Recurring revenue

Recurring revenue is a type of a company's revenue that can be easily taken into account. A company with a recurring revenue typically has a business model that requires subscription with their service and renewal is very likely. Utilities such as cable, electric, internet and other subscription related models will have a very strong recurring revenue. Outside the subscription business models, a consumable item like gasoline or food stuff can also be counted as a recurring revenue.
