Split adjusted

Split adjusted is a term given to an equity's historical price which is adjusted for stock splits. If a stock has been trading in the $100 range and a 1 for 2 down split is announced, the new trading range would now be at $50. Now, if the stock has not gone up to $200 before the split then the historical charts would not even display that the stock has reached $100 after the split is implemented.
