Shooting star

Shooting star is a technical pattern formed on a bullish trend characterized by a long positive candle followed by a negative candle which opened higher than the closing price. This is normally found during an uptrend. When found this kind of candlestick may signify a possible trend reversal going down. This candlestick is formed because of an increased selling pressure as the long positions are getting liquidated.
