Boom

A boom refers to a part of the business cycle characterized by a strong surge in business expansion relative to the general economy where the business operates. During this stage, companies reflect strong profits mirrored by its stellar stock performance in the market. All booms are always followed by a bust where profits are reduced or on a decline and the general economy is in a state of recession.
