Callable bonds are bonds that can be redeemed back by the issuer at any time during the life of the bond. The price at which the bonds are redeemed are usually at a premium. Issuers usually call their issued bonds to reduce liabilities stated on their financial records which gives them a huge advantage when investors evaluate their assets.
