Chain weighted index

A chain weighted index is an index which uses the moving average of a more recent chart observation in favor of a historic price analysis. It is mainly used to measure important economic scenarios by the BEA or U.S Bureau of Economic Analysis which delivers a moderate change estimates on the country's GDP or the CPI.
