Charitable remainder trust

A Charitable remainder trust is a trust that is created from the byproduct of immutable donation to a charity. The donor can immediately receive a tax deduction but only a part of the total amount because the charity does not get the proceeds right away. The donor will get lifetime payments from this and the allowed deduction depends on the age of the donor and the current interest rates.
