Compensation package

Compensation package refers to the total amount of derivative securities that companies pay for its top executives. The package includes bonuses, option grants or a stated salary. The combination of compensation in the package depends which is the most attractive at a particular point in time. This includes whether the stock is rising or an reimbursement in the value that the stock lost within a specified time period.
