Corporate raider

A corporate raider is an investor who wishes to have a significant control over the company through voting rights. The corporate raider buys undervalued shares of the corporation in huge volume to obtain this goal. Once the upper leadership of the company has been replaced and the stock price goes up significantly, the corporate raider profits from it.
