Current ratio or working capital ratio

Current Ratio or Working Capital Ratio refers to the ratio of current assets to current liabilities. A 2.5-to-1 ratio is deemed desirable for industrial companies, thus also called a quickie solvency ratio, when a company fails to borrow money to pay bills.
