Expenditure

Expenditure is the purchase of services or goods for the company's long-term improvements or operations. They are considered as amortized capital assets on company financial reports and company records. Their value is reduced by a biased depreciation, depletion, or obsolescence expense every fiscal period giving asn accounting for the "using up" of the assets. Thus, the systematic amortization is the expense, rather than the initial outlay.
