Expire on close

Expire on Close is to automatically cancel a limit order at the close of a market session when its price terms are not reached within the time limitation, like, the day, week or month. An odd-lot order in a stock that had no round-lot trades after the order was entered expires at the close of that exchange unless there is an instruction to trade on the basis price.
