Favorable trade balance

Favorable trade balance is a condition on a country's trade balance where it is seen as beneficial to the economic objectives of the country. the surplus of exports over imports creates a trade surplus which can strengthen a country's currency. A surplus on imports can weaken its currency as firms sell their local currency for the exporting country's currency to use as payment.
