Import quota

Import quota is the limit in value or in volume on products that are coming from another country. This quota is set by the government and can be used to strengthen the local economy or the economy of its trading partner. A limit on imported cars allows a huge advantage on local car companies to prosper and improve products such as what South Korea is doing with its local car companies like Hyundai and its sister company Kia.
