Laffer curve

Laffer curve in economics is a graph that illustrates supply side economics. This graph shows the effects of tax rates in productivity of businesses or individual workers. Arthur B. Laffer argues that increasing tax rates does not necessarily mean a higher revenue because people or businesses lose incentives to work harder and thus decreasing total revenues. Higher revenues would result in a higher tax revenue with the same low rate.
