Tangible asset value per share

Tangible asset value per share represents the real value of a company which will be used to determine its value in the event of a liquidation. Tangible asset value per share is calculated by taking the company's assets and subtracting it with its intangible assets, liabilities and par value of preferred stock divided by its common outstanding shares.
